Google Labs
So this may be old to some but I just stumbled across Google labs which is a website that shows you experiments and things that google is developing. It has things like Google transliteration which translates any word you type into the language of your choice and Google body which allow you to dissect the human body. It also has an app inventor which lets you create your own apps. Google has been booming lately coming out with new and inventive ideas and programs. I thought this site was interesting and it keeps you up to date on the latest and greatest that google has to offer now. http://www.googlelabs.com/

Fashion and Technology
Fashion and Technology are 2 of my favorite things. I thought it was interesting how much fashion has evolved in the technology world. Technology in fashion is much deeper than what cool new gadgets Celebrities are carrying. The software programs that are available for making and developing clothing and textiles have come a long way. There are amazing CAD programs like PlaidMaker Pro which enables designers to create their own patterns. There are programs that simulate fabric laying on real models and so much more. Also there are advanced programs that organize the making, selling and distributing of products. You definitely need a background in technology in the fashion world today and I think the 2 make a good mix.

TV Shopping
There are so many new technologies when shopping for TV's today. You have LCD, Plasma's, 3D... It can be confusing! So what is the difference LCD/HDTV's are higher definition and one of the first to come out. Then the plasma's came which delivers similar qualities but in a whole different aspect in the way it produces the picture with pixels and gasses. Now they add features like 3D capabilities. I found a website that does a little comparison chart and explains a little about how they work. It is still confusing but this may help a little! http://www.lcdtvbuyingguide.com/lcdtv-plasmavslcd.shtml
