I know we have all heard that police officers have fake social networking accounts trying to catch criminals but I found this article about how it was being done. This prosecutor from the Mid-west developed a fake profile to catch a big time drug dealer. The dealer was constantly changing cell phones and Sim cards, as well as other things, so he was hard to trace. But while communicating with the dealer the prosecutor got a response from him from an I-Phone app which she was able to trace to the purchaser and get the number. Wow!
